Clough Head - Calf Hey - Top O'th Knoll



1200hrs - 1345hrs Walk from Clough Head car park down to Calf Hey House Car Park and then on to Top O'th Knoll and return....

Birds: Canada Goose (51) in field below Crowtrees (old burial grounds) at side of Ogden Res, and here there was also about 50 Swallows feeding up. Also Swallow (6) one party going out West.. Blackbird (2), Crossbill (1) to Top O'th Knoll Planting. Robin (1), Goldfinch (1), Great Spotted Woodpecker (1) calling on way to Top O'th Knoll.

Insects: Speckled Wood B (3), Peacock B (1), Gatekeeper B (4), Small Skipper B (3), Meadow Brown B (2), Green Veined White B (7).... Flora: Red Campion, Herb Robert, Common Knapweed, Hedge Woundwort, White Clover, Yarrow, Yellow Rattle.
